At Shalom Kids Ministry, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God — created with purpose and destined to walk in His light. Our mission is to guide children to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5-7), and to grow in the knowledge of His Word. We desire to see every child firmly rooted in God’s truth, learning to follow Jesus (Yeshua), and walking confidently in His ways.

Our ministry is built on the promise of Isaiah 54:13: “All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.” With this as our foundation, we aim to create a joyful, faith-filled space where children experience the love of God, learn the Scriptures, and discover how to live out their faith every day.

OUR PURPOSE

At Shalom Kids Ministry, our goal is to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus (Yeshua) by teaching them the truth of God’s Word and helping them understand His appointed times. We use the Superbook Curriculum to bring Bible stories to life through engaging lessons, videos, and discussions that help children connect Scripture to their own lives in both Hebraic and Christian understanding.

Along with the regular Superbook studies, we also incorporate special lessons on the Holy Days as those seasons approach — such as Passover, Shavuot (Pentecost), Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot. These lessons help children understand the meaning and importance of God’s appointed times and how they point to Jesus (Yeshua), our Messiah.

• Build a foundation: Helping children know and love God’s Word.
• Grow in faith: Teaching them to trust and follow Jesus (Yeshua) daily.
• Live the Word: Encouraging them to apply Biblical truths in every part of life.
• Understand God’s times: Learning about the Feasts and Holy Days as part of God’s eternal plan fulfilled in Messiah.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When your child joins us at Shalom Kids Ministry, they’ll experience a warm and welcoming environment where faith, joy, and learning come together. A typical Shabbat or service day includes:

• Start Together: We begin with worship and prayer alongside the congregation in the main sanctuary.
• Kids’ Service: After worship, children are invited to the classroom for their own time of learning, prayer, and fun.
• Prayer and Devotion: We open with prayer and a short devotion to help kids apply God’s Word to their lives.
• Bible Lesson: Using Superbook lessons and Scripture-based teachings, we learn God’s truth through stories, videos, and discussion.
• Memory Verse: Each month we focus on a Bible verse to hide in our hearts and live by.
• Snack and Fellowship: We enjoy a snack together, share thoughts, and encourage friendships that build up faith.
• Seasonal Lessons: During Holy Days, we explore their Biblical meaning through crafts, stories, and hands-on learning that connect to both Hebraic roots and the message of the Gospel.

We are passionate about teaching children to love God and His Word from an early age. By planting the Word deeply in their hearts, we help them grow into disciples who live by faith, walk in wisdom, and reflect the love of Jesus (Yeshua) wherever they go.

Through the work of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), we desire to see every child:

• Rooted in the Word of God
• Confident in their identity in Messiah
• Walking in obedience and faith
• Shining as a light to others

Our heart is to fulfill Deuteronomy 6:5-7 — to teach God’s commandments diligently to our children and speak of them in every part of life — so that the next generation may know Him, love Him, and serve Him wholeheartedly.
