Dance Ministry

Sonja Thompson has been dancing since 1994.Her love for dance began when she learned of her own Jewish roots. Her passion for dance and the study of it, took her to Israel where she spent time researching Davidic Dance and its Biblical importance. This sacred form of dance can be traced back to Miriam and the persecution of the Jewish people. In addition to leading the dance ministry at Shalom, Sonja travels nationwide teaching and worshiping using this anointed dance method.
