Shalom Hebraic Christian Congregation supports Vision For Israel, a non-profit charitable organization founded by Barry and Batya Segal to help rebuild the nation of Israel, both physically and spiritually.
Since 1996, VFI's humanitarian relief center, The Joseph Storehouse, has been a source of emergency assistance for the entire community of Israel, whether Jewish, Arab or Christian. VFI desires to be a channel of mercy, freely distributing emergency medical equipment, food, toiletries, blankets, clothing and other necessities.
VFI serves both those living under Israel's "poverty line" and also brings relief to the general population in times of crisis. Each week VFI assists Israel's most vulnerable citizens: orphans and widows, the homeless and handicapped, the elderly, new immigrants and victims of terrorism and their families.
